Path of Korean films enjoyed with comfort - "Korean Film Museum"
I went to the Korean Film Museum, which is at the Korean Film Archive in Sangam. The exhibition center is divided into standing exhibition hall and special exhibition hall.
These days, the special exhibition hall is exhibiting globally renowned foreign films remaining in our memories. They are films that gained global fame and which were box office successes.
At the part that gives detailed explanations on globally renowned films, I played my favorite Lord of the Rings series. It shows overall summary and information about the films, including actors and directors, at a glance.
The standing exhibition hall introduces Korean films. Befitting a historical hall, it shows the footsteps of Korean films by era. While I didn't know much about Korean films in the 80s, I had a fun time looking at old posters and designs that felt new. Beginning with Korean films in the 90s, I could see a few works that are popular not only in Korea but also in foreign countries.
Going through the history of Korean films, you can see film equipment, techniques, and locations that were used in the past. The movie cameras from the past vividly convey that great technological changes were made from the past til now.
