Because of the sudden cold, I might have to greet winter without ever setting eyes on autumn. I want to tell you about Hongneung-gil Road, the road linking Kyunghee University to Korea University, where you can still feel the autumn.
Hongneung-gil Road is a short road between Kyunghee University and Korea University which takes 15 to 20 minutes to travel on foot. College neighborhoods are always bustling and full of vitality. Hongneung-gil Road is, however, slightly removed from the bustling center and hence is rather quiet and elegant. Walking alone will relax your mind and will lead you to think, “How come I never heard about this place before?”
Turn your head slightly and you will be greeted by the sight of a school playground awash in the colors of autumn. There are families taking pictures. I can still hear the blissful laughter from a mother as she poses for a photograph.
In name and outward form, Hongneung-gil Road is a road in Seoul overflowing with many charms.
