Q. Would you introduce "Moounga" to us?
Moounga used to be a cultural group that produced exotic festivals; now, however, it is growing into a management agency that produces festivals. It aims to discover and foster new talent for citizens to enjoy festivals more and to provide more opportunities to cultural planners or festival planners.
Q. I think planning and operating festivals are not easy; what attracted you the most?
"Moounga" differentiates itself from others. There is a big difference between executing as an agency for certain purposes vs. personally planning and producing what we want to do into festivals.
For example, if there are designers who make items according to customers' requirements and designers who build their career according to their vision, we will have more attachment toward the latter. Moounga plans and produces festivals based on various ideas. We feel rewarded from the process of turning the ideas into festivals. In the beginning, we plan festivals with great difficulty; over time, however, we get the hang of it and start making well-known festivals. Then, participants gradually increase; as we see positive reviews and responses, we feel encouraged and motivated.
