The asset of historicity
Eagle Coffee Shop first opened in 1971 but closed in 2005. It opened its doors again in 2013 thanks to the first owner’s grandson.
The coffee shop has served as a place of cultural communication as well as one of meeting for the youths of the times.
Sinchon, an area that has changed with time
In the past, Sinchon was a place filled with "youth.”
It was a place continuously crowded with youths and academic debates.
Today, however, the owner mentions that the area is emotionally dry.
Alone and together
Eagle Coffee Shop offers both customers who come alone and in groups plenty of space and a great atmosphere.
While, in the past, Eagle Coffee Shop provided customers with a space for debates and communication,it has now become a space that offers various accommodations.
Because Eagle Coffee Shop exists
The owner does not want to lose the historicity of the old Sinchon and Eagle Coffee Shop.
He says that this is why he continues to run Eagle Coffee Shop, in the hope to preserve the area’s historicity.
