Seoul Reads, Seoul Metropolitan Library
Seoul Reads – Seoul Metropolitan Library. This library is not simply a home to books. It also hosts lectures and offers opportunities for educational experiences. The Seoul Metropolitan Library managed by Seoul city can be somewhat difficult to recognize as a library. Its exterior itself reminds us of modern architecture. Indeed, the Seoul Metropolitan Library is the old Seoul City Hall building that was built in 1926. It is currently Seoul’s primary library that is home to a collection of 200,000 books. Just like its beautiful exterior, the library has an equally aesthetic interior. Computers with foreign language options as well as books donated by embassies in Seoul and cultural centers make the library further user-friendly for foreigner visitors. Take the time to relax on the lawn in front of the Seoul Metropolitan Library and City Hall on a nice day.
