[The Night of Seoul #3] Romantic Sebitseom Island

Sometimes it's a bit cold and a bit complex

But I like Seoul, where we are

Busy people coming and going

Couples on the way

Tonight, is never coming back

You and me, two of us

<Seoul Night> of Urban Zakapa

<Seoul Night>, sung by Urban Zakapa, with its refined tone and lovely voice,

is about a lover who spends a romantic night in every corner of Seoul.

The song seems to go well with the brightly shining Sebitseom Island,

maybe because of the sweet tone of the vocals, or the melody that conveys a good mood.

Sebitseom Island was known as the shooting site of the movie ‘Avengers,’

but was left unattended in 2006 due to various issues and became 'Sebitseom Island' in 2013.

Since then, it has been reborn as the world's first floating structure (built on material that can float on water),

recognized as a place where you can enjoy the Hangang River from a different perspective,

and become beloved by many citizens.

Sebitseom Island is a pure Korean name,

which means that the three islands are the three basic colors of light- red, blue, and green-,

so that they may exist in harmony and shine over the Hangang River and Seoul.

Unlike the lights in the city, which are always on,

these are more meaningful because they exist only to shine on the Hangang River.

Sebitseom Island is divided into 'Gabit', 'Chaebit', 'Solbit,' and 'Yebit'.

'Gabit' has a convention hall, a Hangang River café, and various restaurants optimized for international conferences,

corporate events, and banquets.

'Chaebit' operates a variety of complex cultural spaces and restaurants to provide a variety of attractions.

‘Solbit’ shows a beautiful view and has a kids’ café.

‘Yebit’ is host to various performances and events, and has a large LED screen and a water stage.

There are several ways to get to Sebitseom Island.

First, it's attached to Banpo Hangang Park,

so you can simply go to Banpo Hangang Park, or take a shuttle bus

to Sebitseom Island from Exit 6 of Express Bus Terminal Station.

This is most convenient because the shuttle bus runs every 15 minutes from 11 am to 10 pm.
